I looked at you
You looked at me
Our eyes met!
Then I looked at the wall.
I want you on a train
I want you on a plane
I want you on a box
I want you on a fox
I want you on a--
wait, this is wrong.
She was the girl
of my dreams
he was the
monster
under my bed
I've never met
anyone like you
I haven't met
that many people
He said
"I get so lonely sometimes"
She said
"What?! I'm in an elevator!"
He said
"I GET SO LONELY!"
She said
"WHAT?!"
PERFECTION.
ReplyDeleteHello Jordan. You do not know me. I do not know you. But I read your blog. I especially like your poems. They are short and sweet and depressing just like poetry should be.
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks anonymous commenter! Your comments are greatly appreciated!
ReplyDeleteMay I ask how you stumbled across my blog? If you have a blog too let me know and I'll take a look.
Sincerely,
Jordan
Let's just say a friend of a friend is your friend. I came across her blog which links to yours. I do not have a blog; my musings generally go on legal pads.
ReplyDeleteYou should get a blog! Clearly you have excellent taste, so I'm sure your musings are awesome. Don't deny the world your musings! That's what I always say.
