Then maybe you'd go outside in the snow but mostly you'd play video games and watch television and do your homework. But it was oh so leisurely.
I also miss when it would snow in the middle of the school day and one kid would be bored in class and suddenly scream "Blah blah IT'S SNOWING!" and everyone would look and the teacher would try to get everyone to concentrate but it wouldn't happen.
Then there's the days where you'd come into school and there would be some vague snow warning on the weather and everyone would start flipping out and rumors would spread like crazy about whether you'd be going home early. It would start about first period when some kid would say "Dude I heard we're going home sixth period we're getting two feet it's going to be a blizzard!" but then some other kid would be like, "We are NOT going home, the snow isn't going to start until 4 and it's only gonna be like 2 inches!" and so on and so forth.

And so on and so forth.
Ha, I was totally the "Blah blah IT'S SNOWING!" kid.
ReplyDeleteAnd today I'm disappointed that I don't have the day off because it's snowing, but because I had the day off anyway. That's a waste right there.
I can totally see it.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I know what you mean. Actually I wish we had the day off because it was raining free money.
